Markets in London were out of control! .
We spent a great day at the Broadway markets in the cold winter sun. I was floored by the amount of wonderful looking produce and good coffee. So many young people were out enjoying the markets, having lunch, beers, coffees or enjoying the buskers. If I lived in London, this market would be a weekend must.
This was the crazy breaky I had at 'The Breakfast Club' in Angel. This huge plate was French toast with bacon, banana and maple syrup. I have long been curious about this breakfast dish and was pretty excited to try it! It was good but not great. The sheer size of the dish was a little off-putting, who needs that much anything at breakfast. It also meant that it didn't stay hot for long, and by the time I had finished eating the French toast was pretty soggy! But otherwise I was loving the banana and bacon combo, not only for the alliteration but for the fun factor or sweet and salty.
On the whole, 'The Breakfast club' was fun. Super atmosphere, great hang-over food (the boy had the mexican breakfast, amazing!) and the drinks were delicious, hence the crazy number of beverages on our table.
